Green an All Star

Are they required to take someone from each team?

Yes, they pick someone from every team. Green is on a 50 point (usually only a handful of d-men score 50 in a season) pace on a bad team with a dimwitted coach and gm.

I thought Larkin would be one, but it's hard to argue against those picks.

Barkov
Eichel
Kucherov
Marchand
Matthews
Stamkos

Was hoping AA would be the guy from the Wings just to see him do the fastest skater competition. I still think those skill competitions would be better if they brought in all the best in the NHL no matter if they get to play in the game or not. Having guys like McDavid, Larkin and AA (along with whoever else is really fast) would be a lot better then what they are likely to get. Teams usually have their own skill competitions so knowing who the top 10 in the NHL are for each skill wouldn't be that hard.

Hey if that ups his trade value, it is good news.

Carey Price makes the team with a .911. I thought there had to be someone better. Their highest scorer has 23 points.

Bergevin has to be the worst GM but at least he speaks french because that's much more important than being smart in Montreal. That Drouin trade in blowing up in his face. Long term that PK trade isn't going to be good if it ever was. They're trying to run Pacioretty out of town AGAIN, he just scores 30+ goals a year and he's the problem on that team apparently. Price starts a 8 year $84 million contract NEXT year at the age of 31. Drafting has been dog shit outside of Sergachev going back to 2008. Brutal.

My sentiments exactly. The Red Wings now have an All-Star defenseman available at the deadline. That has to be worth a first and a decent D prospect. But think about the sound of that... the Red Wings (these circa 2017 Red Wings) have an All-Star defenseman on the team...

OK, THAT"S funny. Don't look at the actual product on the ice I mean who are you going to believe ME or your own eyes?! I'd say good luck with that one Kenny, but he did sucker the Rangers into trading for Smith.
