Toews looks very mediocre right now and they really miss Hossa's minutes and puck control.

Bowman and company screwed the pooch
Last year they brought back Campbell (17 points) and Oduya.

This year they brought back Sharp (7 points in 28 games) and Saad (14 points in 28 games).

Very Hollandesque.

There's nothing you can do about paying your stars. You either pay them or lose them.

The Hawks still have a solid core.

If I was Chicago, I'd explore moving Kane to Buffalo. Maybe something like
Patrick Kane for Middelstadt, Evander Kane and Sam Reinhart

It's not just the overpaying the current stars and make no mistake they are way overpaid. It was over paying the average players as well. those overage players had to be traded and the only way to trade them was to give up picks and prospects that they needed to play with their cheap ELCs. Little Stan took Tallon's team and wrecked it.

The only bad contract Bowman gave was to Bickell. (And Huet, I guess, going back further)

And let's not forget the Bickell contract was so bad they had to add Teravainen just to get rid of that contract. But we won't get into little Stan's shit show of a trade history.

You think Abby is bad? Seabrook is 10x worse for the same reasons.

Toews is the highest paid player in the league? LOL! Talk about getting paid for accomplishments 5 years ago.

Kane is good but is he close to the best player for 10.5. Kane can put up the points but he has no one to play with because little Stan has traded any help he had. Its not like he can elevate a line like a top flight centre in the league. But let's circle back to Teravainen at this point.

Crawford for 6 million who folds like a cheap tent every playoffs.

Its little Stans hard work that has put them out of the playoffs this year. It was really hard work to get to this point. Quenville clearly feels the same way after walking out on little Stan at the draft for his incompetence this summer.

Central division cellar dwellers Chicago Blackhawks are making Brent Seabrook a healthy scratch tonight.

Only six and a half years to go on his contract. Good job little Stan!

They're a small team now but Panarin for Saad was a terrible trade.
