I bet the Isles might take him back if we throw in a prospect. We could take Dehaan back or something (UFA D)

He's a guy that can fill a secondary role that was signed to play a primary role in Detroit, and is suffering because he can't handle the role he's been shoehorned into. Just like half the roster.

I agree that it was a terrible signing... but, who's going to play C?

Sheahan was a bad pick, from the beginning projected as a 3rd liner... who has regressed to be a soft 4th liner.
We traded Jarnkrok, who SHOULD HAVE been our 3rd line C.
We traded Janmark (Dallas announcers were gushing over that kid).
Turgeon looked like another Sheahan in pre-season... only worse.
Ehn is still in Sweden.

We all know Holland has put this team in a bad position by mismanaging prospects/drafts in order to keep the streak alive. At the end of the day, he had address the hole at C. He chose the UFA route and had to pay a premium price for for a borderline 2-line center.

More crying over the worst coach in Red Wing history. Saddled the team with terrible contracts to players who are not worth half their contract yet this dud keep his job and continues to make terrible signing and loses players better then half his team....worst defence in the league. Tartar and Nyquest get all the ice time and produce nothing compared to the kids who get way less ice time...Just poorly managed and coached team. We just have to ride out the bums till their time runs out...Oh for an owner who cared about the team instead of just returns. Dont laugh but Sherhan still get poqwer play time because he is an ace getting 2 goals in the last game of the season so he needs to be rewarded for that.

Zetterberg, Larkin, Helm, Glendening, Sheahan.

Nielsen barely changes anything about this team.

He has said the Isles offered the same money. With Tavares suggesting he may leave, this would seem like an ideal time to move him (they need to show him they are serious about winning). As for a prospect, I wouldn't give up much more than the player. DeHaan is paid $2.4M and is a d'man. How do you fit him onto the roster (rhetorical). I'm assuming the saved $$$ is to sign AA and put him on the ice). I get AA replaces FN. Is your idea to waive Jensen and put DeHaan in his place (or give the Isles Jensen)? If yes, I agree.

Draw a line right above Larkin, anyone above that for the right return. Hank only if he wants out.
