Red Wings' Jeff Blashill: 'We need (fans) in the stands'
"That's one of the challenges of a great building with so much to offer, especially a new building where they're checking things out," Blashill said. "We need them in the stands. I thought there were moments where it was real full and moments where it wasn't. We need them in the stands as much as possible. It's a loud building, so it's going to be a huge home-ice advantage when they're in the stands."http://www.mlive.com/redwings/index.ssf ... iver_index
Some of this is the new toy syndrome. Some may be slow concessions (never been so can't comment BUT, at day's end the product on the ice needs to exceed the bling of the building.
