XO is just a little too small and a little too slow to be a real good D, but he's a fairly solid third pairing guy.

He's a western Canada boy, so he could have a long career in the organization.
1) NCAA or Michigan kid
2) Swede (dying breed in the winged wheel)
3) Western Canada

You forgot the most important one...golfs with Holland :rollin:

I watched most of the game Saturday.
XO is pretty good.
He's smart. He puts the puck on net or in the corner, smartly. He's just a smart hockey player.

Jensen made one real good play that set up a rebound that Abby couldn't put home.

that was the book on XO, doesn't do anything really well but he's smart and isn't horrible at anything either.

Jensen was mostly about skating. A poor man's Smith.

Hicketts is very competitive (despite his size, he usually wins puck battles and is effective clearing the front of the net), physical, blocks shots, excellent positionally and makes great decisions with the puck.
He played against the opponents top lines and on the SH units for the Griffs and team Canada at the WJCs.
I don't know why you would say that he can't play a lick of defense
